Hogwarts Age

- Rosie -

Upon the arrival to the familiar and gothic silhouette of Hogwarts, rain began to descend from the sky. Thankfully, we were too close to require any kind of cover. Thunder also began to growl in the distance as our carriages pulled up near the castle.

"This way to the Great Hall," Filch said at the entrance, holding his lantern up. His wrinkly and grumpy face was illuminated by the eerie light, and even after 6 years of being around him, I still grew uncomfortable.

Astra~
I look around as I start to head towards the castle. I walk with Rosie and after we pass Filch I turn to her "Why won't he die already...." I whisper

~Adrian~

"Must be a vampire," I muttered as I overheard Astra.

~Cass~

I sat on one of the boats, shivering uncontrollably as we slowly floated along the water. I had been cld ever since the train and I couldn't wait to get inside the (hopefully) warm castle. I rubbed my hands together and tried to warm my numb fingers and realized that some of my shaking was from nerves, not so much the cold anymore. I took a deep breath, the chilly night air stinging my lungs and tried to calm down. Teagan and Spider both said any house would want me, so why be nervous?
Well they don't really know you, I thought to myself, What if they're wrong? No ones wanted you before, why would it change now?
I took a shaky breath this time, closing my eyes as we neared the shore, feeling even more scared.

~Aithne~

I laughed softly as I overheard the others, "Maybe he'll become a ghost and haunt this place forever."

- Rosie -

"He'd be like a rotten version of Peeves," I muttered as I followed behind the masses of other freezing students, eyeing the warm candlelight that was coming from within the castle.

-Katherine-

Katherine, who'd gone in with Rosie and Aithne, shook her head. "No, no. He'd smell better as a ghost, and he'd look better if he was a vampire. Less dustman, more Lestat, yeah? No, all things considered, I'm going to have to say... Inferius."

Astra~
As we walk inside I smile to my friends "Hey, I'll see you all tomorrow." I say with a small wave before heading towards the Slytherin table

~Aldrich~
I smiled and waved to Rosie and the others as I followed after Astra.

- Rosie -

I gave them a slight smile as I wandered off towards the Gryffindor table.

Astra~
As I sit down at the table I look over at Aldrich, "So how many first years do you think we'll get this year?" I ask

~Aithne~

I waved and followed Rosie toward the Gryffindor table, stomach growling with the promise of food.

~Cass~

The boats reached the shore and all of the first years started making their way off and onto land. I stood after the others in my boat left and with my shivering it was a miracle I didn't fall in. I stared in awe at the dimly lit castle, amazed at how beautiful it was. Shuffling along behind the other scared first years we finally reached the castle and were herded into the warm interior, which I was extremely grateful for.

~Adrian~

I sat down next to Judal, with my youngest sibling Marcus, a 2nd year, sidling in beside me. My sister Hazel, a third year, waved before she went to join her Hufflepuff friends.

~Aldrich~
"Probably the usual amount. What do you think?"

-Katherine-

Katherine sat down at the Ravenclaw table across from Judal and Adrian.

~Cass~

The first years all lined up, terrified and excited at the same time. We all waited for Dumbledore to stand and begin his speech but before he could a scream filled the Great Hall. My eyes shot up to the area behind the professors and I gasped.

You-Know-Who was standing right behind them!

"Surprise bitches, I'm back!" he screamed as he raised his wand and killed some kid (idk equicky made his name it was something dumb no one cares about) and then he screamed as he began to turn to dust again.
"Oh sweet Jesus not again!" he cried and those were his final words.

"Well that was certainly unexpected," Dumbledore said as he kicked dust off his shoes, "But screw that noise let's get this hat on some heads!"
