Hogwarts Age

Astra~
I take a seat with a smile, "It was good, pretty boring besides getting some quidditch practice in, my Dad was also able to take me to the world cup which was pretty cool" I admit "How about you?"

~Aldrich~
"I still think Portugal should have won.," I said to Astra as I observed my wand.

Astra~
"Nah I think Israel deserved it, them being the complete underdogs, and them being my people and all" I say

~Adrian~

"Yeah, I have to side with Astra on this. They worked really hard this season."

~ Spider ~

My shoulder collided with a train compartment as I struggled along the hallway. On a whim, I glanced inside and saw a red-haired girl and a smaller, blonde girl talking. Shrugging to myself, I hesitantly opened the compartment door and stuck my head inside. "Ello, ladies," I said as confidently as I could. "Room for one more? I'm Spider, by the way."

Astra~
"How about you guys, how was your summer?" I ask

~Cass~

I nodded and smiled as well, "I'm glad he was able to finish his schooling. Does he have big plans being out of school?"

~Teagan


I shrugged. "He plans to do whatever my parents want..." I sighed, shaking it off.

I look up to the boy leaning against the door on our compartment, thankful the subject had changed. I had remembered seeing him once or twice during Quidditch games. A Slytherin. "Uh, yes, of course!" I scoot over, putting my cat in my lap, "This is Cass, I'm Teagan."

~Aldrich~
"Portugal all the way," I said as I waved my wand and a confetti appeared in the colors of Portugal.

~Cass~

I gave a small wave and tentative smile as the girl, Spider, joined us. I had to keep a hand on Misty so she wouldn't run again.

Astra~
I roll my eyes at the confetti "You've been waiting all summer to preform that spell weren't you?" I ask

~ Spider ~

Grinning gratefully, I bustled inside and plonked myself down beside the girl introduced as Teagan. "Thanks," I breathed, quickly shoving a hand into my pocket to pull out my firebelly toad. "This is Hanson." I brandished him quickly before putting him away, and looked awkwardly at the two girls. I hadn't really thought that I was the only boy in the compartment. Teagan was the Hufflepuff prefect if I remembered correctly, and little Cass I didn't recognize. "Are you a first year?" I asked gently.

~Aldrich~
"I did a summer internship at the ministry with my father. Besides that, not much else."

~Adrian~

"I'd prefer Wales over all else, but anyone that beats Portugal is my favorite...."

Astra~
"Yeah, I'm ready to go back to school though" I admit "My parents were driving me crazy"

~Teagan


I smiled a bit, noticing the tension, and trying my best to diffuse it. "She is! And excited. Any house would be lucky to have her," I smiled brighter, holding my cat close.

Sensing a lull in the conversation, Katherine looked from Aithne to Rosie. "So, you two are going to have to tell me everything that happened at school last year while I was away. I must have missed so much!"

- Rosie -

"Well. . . You missed the O.W.L.S. For that, you're pretty lucky." I said this lightheartedly, giving her a grin. "It's not like you'd need to worry much about exams, though."

~Aithne~

"Yeah seriously you would've aced them," I said with another smile, "How did you do on yours Rosie?"

~Cass~

My smile grew a bit, "Oh thank you, but I don't know about that. My magic didn't even show itself until last year so I don't know how well I'll do..."
I trailed off, twisting a strand of hair in my hands nervously.

- Rosie -

"I got outstanding on half, exceeds expectations on the other half. . . Except for Herbology. I only scored acceptable on that one." I rubbed the back of my neck sheepishly. "What about you?"

~Aithne~

I laughed, "I haven't taken mine yet, silly. But you did really well!"

- Rosie -

My cheeks flushed red with embarrassment. How could I have forgotten she's only a third year?! I laughed a bit nervously. "O-Oh, right. I keep forgetting you're not in our grade."

Internally, Katherine cringed. "Oh, I dunno. They still sound pretty hard. I don't have to take mine until the end of next year, though."
